The Childrens Act - adds a new module to Caseworks

Its a pseudo-module really! Our St Albans customer - who already has three Caseworks Modules - Anti Social behaviour, Domestic Abuse and Safeguarding, wanted to add a new facility for Child in Need Assessments which would be accessible from every module. And so we did just that. We placed the new facility in the Modules section of every menu.

The new screen allows Assessment under Section 17 of Children’s Act and Assessment under Section 14 of Children’s Act to be recorded, the Assessment Document to be uploaded, and the Parent to be located and linked no matter which of the three modules they are in.

As soon as the user enters a record, the system searches for matches and displays them prominently in the new record, as well as providing a “Parent Link” so that you can directly navigate to it.

The customer was delighted to see their idea turned into reality within a week, and gave the go ahead for it to be included in Live. They are now considering what Reports they will want from it!
